Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

Will you help us choose our colors?
Color selection is each client's responsibility, although we can consult with you and help you as best we can.

Remember, it is your home and you have to live with the colors that are picked. Color selections must be finalized 48 hours in advanced before starting project. Color samples, quarts, and draw downs are gladly done to help you with your decision.

What should be done to prepare the room?
Remove all pictures from walls. If you want the pictures or any hanging item back in the same place, leave the nail or hanger. If we see a hole we will fill it.

I'm worried about my antique plate collection. Will you be extra careful when working near it?
If you have an item in your home that is irreplaceable please move it to an area where it can not be broken. For example, remove all valuable china from hutches and/or cabinets and books from shelves.

I have an oversized oak desk that I don't want to be ruined. Will you move it for me?
Don't try to move large furniture. We will move anything that needs to be moved, with your permission.

Will you mind if the kids watch you work for a while?
Please make arrangements to have children and pets in another area of the home for their safety and ours.

What time can we expect your crew to arrive?
Our start times can vary, so check with your job foreman as to what works best for everyone's schedule.

Should we do anything with our hedges before you start painting?
Please make sure that all bushes, trees and landscaping are cut back to a minimum of 8 to 10 inches away from the home. If we need to pull things back farther than this we can. If possible please remove any other obstructions from around the home by at least 4 feet. Please understand that this is a construction project, and that flowers and bushes sometimes don't fare too well. We will do our very best to protect your landscaping but it can be difficult and very unsafe to try and tip-toe while carrying equipment.

Are there any special considerations we might not be thinking of?

  • Please make sure that gates are unlocked and accessible for our workers during their work day.
  • Please be sure that all windows are closed shut for power washing.
  • Allow access to the garage if the garage door is to be painted.
  • Turn sprinklers off during the day. If the house is wet when we get there we can't do anything till it dries. The home should not have the sprinklers hitting it so please make sure the heads are adjusted properly.
  • Please make arrangements to have children and pets in another area of the property for their safety and ours.
